This is a reception study on how the idea of Paneuropa, as launched by the austrian count Richard Nikolaus Coudenhove-Kalergi in 1923, was received by the political weekly magazine Tidevarvet, a product of ? and an opinion forming organ for ? the social liberal wing of the Swedish suffrage- and peace movements. The main purpose is to examine to what extent there was an existent Europeanism in the public debate in Sweden during the interwar period, and how that discourse was constructed through the conceptual pairings disruption/unity and parts/whole. The study is conducted mainly through discourse analysis, combined with partly new research into sources such as the parliament, the newspapers and civil society to try to initiate a mapping over the wider reception of the Paneuropa project in a Swedish context. The study finds that the subject of Paneuropa is present throughout the almost entire period of the publication, namely 1924?1936, and that the question of a federal Europe is closely connected to the pacifist attitude of the editorial staff in general and writer/editor Elin W?gner in particular.

This work is meant to show how memory can work within a smaller society when it comes to folklore and local history. What is remembered, how it is remembered and why it is remembered. Sprung from the older collections of folklore within the selected area - which is Glaskogen in western V?rmland - the purpose is to look at different types of memorizing and how it can work. The purpose is also to analyze some of the folklore from Glaskogen via narrative analyzing methods of Palmenfelt, Labov and Young, and also to understand Glaskogen from a cultural heritage perspective, looking at the valuation process and attitude towards the immaterial heritage.

Detta examensarbete har skett i samarbete med Stadsmuseet i Skövde inför en utställning under sommaren och hösten 2013 om staden Skövdes skyddshelgon S:ta Elin. Arbetet innehåller en undersökning om hur en 3D-animerad karaktärs icke-verbala uppförande tillsammans med dess ikonografiska attribut kan fungera engagerande för publiken på ett sätt som stödjer syfte och mål med utställningen. För utställningen var målet att göra besökarna intresserade av vad som ligger bakom legenden. För utvärderingen skapades en prototyp i form av animerad 3D-karaktär som ingick i en kortfilm till utställningen om Elinlegenden. Karaktären Elin var i filmen "stum", i betydelsen att hon inte talade själv, därför var det viktigt att hennes karaktär ändå klarade att uttrycka personlighetsdrag.

The purpose of this essay is to examine how Elin Wägner depicts the middle-aged woman who lives in the country in Sweden, in the 1920?s. The question at issue is: What problems and what subjects for rejoicing does she raise? My aim is to try to understand the women?s situation, as well as how Elin Wägner describes the situation in her four novels from the 1920?s: Den namnlösa (1922), Silverforsen (1924), Natten till söndag (1926) och Svalorna flyga högt (1929). At the same time I intend to compare the woman of the 1920?s to the situation of women today.I am writing from a feministic literary theory called ?omläsning? according to the description of Gunilla Domellöf.

Den heliga kungen och den saliga änkan is a comparative study of the saint legend of Erik and the saint legend of Elin as they are represented each saint?s officium. The base for these comparisons is the question of what general similarities, and differences, there are as well as an immerse investigation of how these legends portray halidom and finally how the issue of femininity and manliness are portrayed through these two legends. During the thesis apparent similarities appear in how the legends are structured; a template seems to have existed in which the content of what a legend should include is stated. Erik, as well as Elin, are of noble birth and are portrayed as godly people who live bountiful and ascetic lives.

Studien är en analys av Elin Wägners Norrtullsligan (1908) och Pennskaftet (1910) ur ett rumsligt perspektiv, med inriktning på genus. Syftet är att fördjupa läsningen av romanerna samt relatera dem till sin tids- och samhällskontext. Romanerna utspelar sig i medelklassmiljöer i Stockholm under tidigt 1900-tal, och handlar om kvinnor som omformulerar sina roller ochengagerar sig i bättre villkor. De centrala frågorna är: Hur gestaltas, representeras och diskuteras rum och stad i romanerna? Vilka rum använder karaktärerna och hur använder de dem? Den teoretiska utgångpunkten är att kombinera litteraturvetenskap med rumsteori, inspirerad av Alexandra Borgs avhandling En vildmark av sten (2011).

Abstract The purpose of this study is to examine how teachers in primary school reason about and problematize the phenomenon of concentration difficulties. I want to know what the teachers think characterizes concentration difficulties, the situations in which difficulties creates the most problems, and whether the teachers think that these difficulties solely depend on external factors. To examine this, I chose to do interviews with three teachers in years four to six. I have completed parts of my work with my colleague Elin Preisz. We have used the same purpose and issues in our studies, although Elin has interviewed teachers in preschool. With this we want to be able to compare the reasoning between teachers at different stages in school. The results of my study shows that the interviewees think that it is hard to describe what characterizes the problems in concentration difficulties because the problems is very individual.

Under mitt examensarbete har jag undersökt hur man kan använda sig av storytelling inom marknadsföring. Att hitta kärnhistorien i varumärket, och därefter hur man på bästa sätt kan kommunicera det budskapet. För att testa teorin i praktiken samarbetade jag med företaget Älvsbyhus. I mitt arbete får ni följa hur jag hittar verktyg inom storytelling som kan lyfta fram kärnan i budskapet.

Titel: Sponsring till vilken nytta- för filantropi eller PR? Nivå: C-uppsats i ämnet företagsekonomi Författare: Elin Jacksson och Elin Åkerblom Handledare: Agneta Sundström Datum: 2015 - Juni  Syfte: Syftet är att skapa ökad förståelse för företagens arbete med sponsring, vad som motiverar dem och vilken nytta arbetet bidrar till. Metod: Uppsatsen har kvalitativ metod och komparativ design som omfattar tio semistrukturerade intervjuer riktade mot tio företag som marknadsför ett sponsorarbete på idrottsarenor. Data har sammanställts genom att infoga nyckelord i en tabell som sedan ligger till grund för analys där teoretiskt stöd finns från vetenskapliga artiklar. Resultat & slutsats: Företag arbetar med sponsring i huvudsak för att bidra till samhällsnytta samtidigt som företagen marknadsförs, de använder sponsring både för att skapa nytta för samhället och nytta för företaget. Vi har funnit att företagen befinner sig i utvecklingsfas där vikten nu är att samarbeta och kräva något tillbaka från de organisationer som erhåller stöd. Förslag till fortsatt forskning: Vi föreslår fler studier som studerar den utvecklingsfas företag befinner sig inom och om samarbetsavtal är effektivare än sponsoravtal, om företagens arbete för hållbart samhälle uppfattas som mer trovärdigt med samarbetsavtal än med sponsoravtal. Uppsatsens bidrag: Studien bidrar till att ge ökad förståelse för företagens sponsorarbete och visar att samhällsnyttan är det som motiverar till sponsorarbete. Vi har funnit att företagen befinner sig i en utveckling där största vikten av sponsoravtal bygger på samarbete där sponsorstagaren förväntas motprestera för att erhålla stöd. Nyckelord: CSR, Filantropi, Sponsring, PR, Samhällsnytta, Image.

Syftet med denna systematiska litteraturstudie var att belysa hur uppkomsten av trycksår kan förebyggas. Vidare var syftet också att undersöka sjuksköterskors kunskap om trycksårsprevention. Datainsamlingen gjordes via databasen Elin och Chinal där 23 artiklar valdes ut för granskning, Resultatet visade att många som använder sig av riskbedömningsskalor inte riktigt vet hur de ska använda sig av dessa instrument och att de också har en bristande utbildning gällande trycksårsprevention. Studien visade också att många sjuksköterskor litade på sin egen kompetens och det var lika säkert att använda sig av erfarenhet som att använda sig av riskbedömningsinstrument..

The aim of this study is to investigate attitudes among relatives and Emergency Department staff, concerning relatives possible presence during resuscitation. Seven scientific articles revises in the studys method. The articles have been searched for in CINAHL, Elin and PubMed. Articles have been analysed using Polit, Beck and Hungler (2001) instructions to evaluate scientific quality. The findings of this study show there it seems no longer appropriate routinely excluding relatives from family presence during resuscitation.

AbstractBackground: After a while the usage of urinary catheters leads to UTI which for the patient means inconvenience, suffering and pain. Aim: The aim of this study was to illuminate how to prevent UTI from patients with indwelling catheter. Method: This study was a literature review in which the articles have been searched for in PubMed, Cinahl and ELIN@Kristianstad. Results: It is important for the nurse to clean the periutheral area before inserting the catheter, and has the knowledge of different cathetermaterials. Silver alloy-coated catheters reduces the rate of UTI.

Syftet är att undersöka hur sjuksköterskor kan gå tillväga när de bedömer behov av och utför postoperativ smärtbehandling: vilka brister som kan förekomma samt belysa de faktorer som utgör en god postoperativ smärtbehandling. Metoden Litteraturstudie, sökandet av artiklar har gjorts i databaserna: Pubmed, Elin, Cinahl och Academic search.. Resultat Sex teman framkom: Bedömning och utförande, smärtlindring i förebyggande syfte, preoperativ information, avbrott i smärtbehandling, kulturella olikheter och effektiv smärtbehandling. Kommunikationen, multidisciplinärtarbetssätt och fasta rutiner visade sig vara viktiga komponenter i den postoperativa smärtbehandlingen. Mer kunskap kring och om smärtbehandling bör ingå i grundutbildningen av sjuksköterskor.
